Special Precautions of Apis

  • Only homeopathic use !
  • Do not take homeopathic remedies without first consulting a homeopathic practitioner. Do not take several remedies at the same time as that is often discouraged in homeopathic treatment. Take the recommended dose only and immediately report any changes in condition to your doctor.

The benefits of Apis are

  • Edema: Apis is recommended when there is fluid retention within the body and tissues begin to swell. This swelling may be due to arthritis, meningitis, or peritonitis.
  • Urticaria, Bites, and Stings: In any of these conditions, the skin becomes itchy and swollen, and can even be sensitive to the touch. There is often puffiness involved and there may be a pain that feels stinging in nature. This can all happen as a response to the chills or a fever or may happen on its own. Apis may work quite well as a homeopathic remedy to help with any of these conditions or symptoms that arise.
  • Cystitis: Any sort of burning or stinging pain in the bladder or urethra upon passing urine is related to this condition. Individuals with this often feel a frequent need to urinate, though there may not be much fluid actually leaving the body. There may even be kidney inflammation associated with this condition.
  • Inflammation of the Eyes, Lips, Mouth or Throat:Any of the affected areas may become red, irritated, and sensitive in nature. Apis works well as a homeopathic remedy to help the body naturally ease the burning and heal the root cause of the affliction. With each of these areas becoming inflamed, individual symptoms will appear that can be difficult to cope with such as swelling and difficulty in seeing or swallowing.

Profile Type

People who benefit greatly from apis tend to have personalities we view as similar to bees. They display characteristics as being fussy, irritable, or restless in nature. They may spend hours cleaning or sorting. They have a vulnerable side that shows that they are sensitive, and they have a fear of being alone. These individuals have a strong need to be surrounded by others and often like to be the center of attention.
