Other Names Bee pollen are the male reproductive cells of plants. They are very small granules found in the anthers of angiosperms and in the pollen sacs of gymnosperms. Bees fly from flower to flower, collecting the pollen from the male part of the mature flower. Their shape, color and size strongly depend on the type of flour from which they get the grains. The pollen is collected on the hind legs and is constantly moistened with nectar. Special Precautions of Bee Pollen

  • Warning! Pregnant women and nursing mothers are advised to consult their doctor before using pollen.
  • People with high blood pressure should be careful when using pollen.
  • If you haven't used pollen before, it's important to build up the amount slowly. Start with a few grains a day and take a little more each day. Ultimately, you can take one tablespoon of pollen grains every morning with breakfast. This can be done with water, with milk or with some yogurt or custard or muesli. The good substances come into their own even better on a sandwich with honey ! If desired, the use of the amount of pollen can be increased to 35 grams per day.
  • It is recommended not to use pollen in the evening. Pollen grains are freeze-dried. The advice is to keep them dry and tightly closed. When properly sealed, pollen can be stored for more than 1 year.
