Winter Savory

Winter savory is an herb. The leaves and stems are used to make medicine.
Special Precautions of Winter Savory
- As it is a strong antiseptic it should not be used purely onto the skin.
- Dermal toxin, dermal irritant, mucous membrane irritant
- Do not use internally, unless directed by a licensed Aromatherapist or physician.
- Avoid during pregnancy
- Lithium interacts with Winter Savory.

- Sore throat : Massage Oil / Healing rub: Add 2 drops of essential oil to 10 ml of almond oil. Massage onto neck and chest. Apply a warm compress directly over your chest.
- Cough : Inhalation: Mix 2 drops of essential oil and 1 tablespoon of honey (1-2 tablespoons of sea salt) and add to hot water, steam inhalation for 10 minutes / 3-4 times a day.
