  • Alpinia Oxyphylla : Yi Zhi Ren, or Black Cardamom, is prescribed by Chinese herbalists to warm the inner cold. Yi Zhi Ren is a cardamom, and all cardamoms warm the Middle area. Yi Zhi Ren also warms the Kidneys and controls fluids coming from that area - which makes it good for urinary incontinence, or frequency and enuresis (bedwetting) from Cold-Deficient Spleen and Kidneys. Yi Zhi Ren is acrid and warm and according to Chinese herbal medicine, works on your kidney and spleen channels.
  • Moxibustion : Supporting Yang to Strengthen the Original Qi : It has been widely applied to many serious diseases due to insufficiency, sinking or depletion of yang qi. Among them are enuresis, rectocele, prolapse of the genitalia, menorrhagia, leukorrhea, and chronic diarrhea, just to name a few.
  • Cornus : Seminal emission, spermatorrhea, enuresis, frequent urination : It can tonify kidney and essence, and also secure essence and reduce urination. Therefore, it is an important herb for astringing essence to relieve emission, just for it can treat both the branch and root of emission due to kidney deficiency.
  • Gui Zhi Tang : Miscellaneous disorders, including hemiplegia, neutropenia, hyperactivity, enuresis, peri- and menopausal syndromes, hypotension, and diffuse esophageal spasms.
  • Uva Ursi : Historically, Uva Ursi has been used by the Chinese, Europeans and American Indians as a kidney healing herb. Both leaves and berries were used for the treatment of bladder infections, kidney stones, incontinence and similar ailments.
  • Corn Silk : Urinary Tract Treatment : The cornsilk herb is a soothing diuretic that can benefit the urinary tract in numerous ways. It can be given to children as a method of treating enuresis--more commonly known as bed wetting. It is also a common alternative to antibiotics when treating a urinary infection resulting from bacteria. Excessive use of antibacterial medications can lead to bacterial resistance to these medications, and complications can arise in children who take pharmaceutical medications. Cornsilk consumption also helps treat inflammation in the bladder or urethra. Cornsilk is usually taken by steeping 2 tsp. of the herb in boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes. You can drink this tea up to three times daily. Cornsilk tinctures are an alternative--3 to 6 ml of tincture should be taken three times daily.

  • Ba Ji Yin Yang Wan : Morinda root is used orally for debility, enuresis, polyuria, hernia, impotence and premature ejaculation, back pain, depression, increasing white blood cell count, stimulating the endocrine system, improving kidney function, and strengthening the skeletal and nervous systems. It has been shown to have androgenic, immune stimulant and tonic actions as well as increasing the release of luteinising hormone.
