Other Names : Common Scurvygrass, Scurvy Grass, Scrubby Grass, Spoonwort, Echt lepelblad, Cochléaire, Cochléaire Officinale, Coclearia, Cranson, Cranson Officinal, Herbe au Scorbut, Hierba del Escorbuto<br>Cochlearia officinalis is a species flowering plant belonging to the family Brassicaceae. It is a native of Europe from the Arctic to the mountains of southern Europe, it grows in moist, shady areas.
==Special Precautions of Cochlearia Officinalis==
* It can cause stomach and intestinal irritation when large amounts are taken by mouth. It can also irritate the skin when applied directly to the skin.
* Do not take scurvy grass if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
* Interacts with Lithium : Scurvy grass might have an effect like a water pill or "diuretic." Taking scurvy grass might decrease how well the body gets rid of lithium. This could increase how much lithium is in the body and result in serious side effects. Talk with your healthcare provider before using this product if you are taking lithium. Your lithium dose might need to be changed.
