Special Precautions of Coffee

  • Regular coffee, of course, also contains caffeine. Caffeine can raise blood pressure, as well as blood levels of the fight-or-flight chemical epinephrine (also called adrenaline).
  • Heartburn : Both regular and decaffeinated coffee contain acids that can make heartburn worse.

The benefits of Coffee are

Coffee contains a type of antioxidant called polyphenols. Polyphenols work inside the body to combat toxic free radicals. Polyphenols also affect key enzymes that improve cellular communication.5 Poor cell signaling can lead to cancer, diabetes, and more.

  • gallstones : Coffee reduces the risk of gallstones, according to a 1999 study published in the "Journal of the American Medical Association".
