Researchers from the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center have found that ginger not only kills cancer cells, it also prevents them from building up resistance to cancer treatment. Ginger is already used as an effective remedy for nausea and inflammation. Studies have shown that ginger can actually destroy the cancer cells in those who have ovarian cancer. It also helps to reduce the inflammation caused by the cancerous cells.Unlike chemotherapy, (which is widely used to treat ovarian cancer), ginger will not cause the cancer cells to become resistant to the ingredient which destroy the cancerous cells.Studies have shown that ginger can help to protect you against ovarian, breast, colon and skin cancers.
