Special Precautions of Gui Zhi Tang

  • Contraindicated for those with Exterior Cold with Interior Heat.
  • Contraindicated for those with Tai Yang Shang Han.
  • Contraindicated for those who drink alcohol frequently.
  • Use caution during the summer or spells of hot weather.

  • Regulates and harmonizes the Ying and Wei

Benefits and uses of Gui Zhi Tang are

  • Febrile diseases, such as common cold, influenza, postpartum fevers, and fever of unknown origin. * Conditions characterized by a surging sensation in the torso, including such cardiovascular diseases as myocarditis, premature ventricular contractions, paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, sick sinus syndrome, and functional cardiac disorders.
  • Allergic disorders, including allergic rhinitis, allergic purpura, food allergies, asthma, chronic urticaria, and eczema.
  • Miscellaneous disorders, including hemiplegia, neutropenia, hyperactivity, enuresis, peri- and menopausal syndromes, hypotension, and diffuse esophageal spasms
