Salvia lavandulifolia Vahl. is a plant from the Iberian peninsula whose phytochemical evaluation indicated the presence of flavonoids, triterpenoids, diterpenoids and monoterpenes. It has an essential oil rich in various bioactive compounds (like 1,8-cineole or α-pinene).
