Home remedies
- Green Tea : Scientific research into the effects of green tea on throat cancer is lacking. However, the results of laboratory study published in 2003 in "Folia Histochemica et Cytobiologica" show that the green tea compound, epigallocatechin-3-gallate, inhibits the growth of laryngeal cancer cells.
- Baking Soda remedy benefits cancers of the throat, colon, intestines and rectal area. Because cancer cells are so hungry for sugars, when the baking soda is mixed with maple syrup, the mixture will go straight to the site of the tumor, like a Trojan Horse, where the bicarbonate will quickly work as a weapon against disease.
- Red raspberry leaf shows promise in the protection against some forms of cancer, according to a preliminary study published in the Journal of Medicinal Food in 2012. In tests on human cells, scientists observed that antioxidants found in red raspberry leaf extract may help knock out cells causing colon cancer and cancer of the larynx.
- Carrots : Diets high in carotenoids have been tied to a decreased risk in postmenopausal breast cancer as well as cancers of the bladder, cervix, prostate, colon, larynx, and esophagus
