Combinations of 5 salts :
- Saindhava Lavana (Rock salt) – Also called Sendha namak, is considered as best among all types of salts. It is recommended for regular dietary usage.
- Vida Lavana – Useful in relieving bloating and dyspepsia
- Sauvarchala Lavana – Black salt – Also called Kala Namak, useful in throat and cardiac disorders.
- Samudra Lavana (Sea salt) – produced from sea water. The seawater is canalized and Sun-dried.
- Audbhida Lavana [Romaka] – contains kshara properties.
