Bai He Gu Jin Pian

Other Names : 百合固金丸, bǎihégù jīnwán, Baihe Gujin Wan, Bai He Gu Jin Wan, Bai He Gu Jin Tang, LungVigor™, Lilium Teapills, Respira Tea Pill Extract
is a blackish-brown honeyed pill used in Traditional Chinese medicine to "nourish yin of the lung, resolve phlegm and relieve cough". It is used when there is "deficiency of yin of the lung and the kidney marked by dry cough, scanty expectoration, bloody sputum, dryness and pain in the throat". Honey is added as a binding agent to make the pill.

Special Precautions of Bai He Gu Jin Pian

  • Avoid alcohol, cigarette, spicy food while taking the product.
  • Not suitable to cough due to a cold and with stuffy or running nose.
  • Not suitable for use if phlegm is excessive and thick.
  • Not suitable for use if you have digestion disorders.

Benefits and uses of Bai He Gu Jin Pian are

This formula is used in deficiency of the Lung and Kidney Yin, which results in a dry cough, dry and sore throat. These may be accompanied by dizziness, feverish feeling in the chest, hands, and feet especially in the evening and at night. These can be present in tuberculosis, chronic bronchitis, and other respiratory conditions. May be used in combination with Sha Shen Mai Dong Wan.
