Karpoorasava (also spelled as Karpurasava) is mainly used for the treatment of cholera. It reduces the frequency of watery stools and clears the infection. It also gives relief from vomiting, and muscle cramps occurring in cholera. In addition, it can also be used for the treatment of diarrhea of various origins, vomiting, and toothache.

- Rectified Spirit : 400 Parts
- Karpoor (Camphor) : 32 Parts
- Elaichi (Cardamom) – Elettaria Cardamomum : 4 Parts
- Nagarmotha (Nut Grass) – Cyperus Rotundus : 4 Parts
- Sonth (Ginger Rhizome) – Zingiber Officinale : 4 Parts
- Ajwain (Carom Seeds) – Trachyspermum Ammi :4 Parts
- Kali Mirch (Black Pepper) – Piper Nigrum :4 Parts
Preparation Method: Take Rectified Spirit and add Camphor in it. Mix it well and then add powders of other ingredients. Leave it in Asava place for a month. Then decant the liquid and preserve it in food-grade bottles. Now, Karpoorasava is ready.
