- Shilajit can be used as treatment for diabetes, gallstones, kidney stones, Heart Disease, anaemia, anxiety, ulcers, asthma, arthritis, epilepsy and jaundice.
- The fresh or dried leaves of Maypop (Passiflora) are used to make a tea that is used to treat insomnia, hysteria, and epilepsy.
- Bacopa is used to treat Epilepsy.
- Black Cumin : Black seeds were traditionally known to have anticonvulsive properties. A 2007 study with epileptic children, whose condition was refractory to conventional drug treatment, found that a water extract significantly reduced seizure activity.
