Earthing or grounding is a great technique to use for tapping into the energy of the Earth to raise your frequency. Unlike most energy healing techniques, earthing doesn’t require you to purchase any product or visit an energy healing practitioner for it to work properly. The best way to practice earthing is to go barefoot outside and walk on dirt. Lying half naked in dirt is even better, because it allows your body to absorb more energy of the Earth. This method isn’t as popular as walking barefoot, because it is too dirty for most people. The most important health consequence of Earthing is providing your body abundant electrons from the Earth. The scientific research and hypotheses related to Earthing point to a major impact on the inflammatory process as a result of this electron transfer.

Your body has evolved a means to kill bacteria using reactive oxygen species (ROS) that are delivered to a site of injury by white blood cells. Although very effective at this task, ROS are also very reactive biochemically and can damage healthy tissues. They believe this is possible due to the fact that direct contact with Earth’s landscape allows the transfer of electrons from the ground to the body and therefore restoring lost electrons. The human body is made of atoms, which contain electrons, protons and neutrons. When some of these electrons are discharged due to free radicals, they cause imbalances in the systems of the body. This could lead to circulatory problems, pain and inflammation, fatigue, premature aging, cancer and other chronic diseases.
