Agnihotra Homa Therapy

Homa Therapy It is the Ancient Science of Healing coming from the Vedas. It is based on the practice of bio-energetic fires, tuned to the circadian rhythm of sunrise and sunset. The bio-energetic equilibrium is called "health". Homa Therapy is the Science of Bio-energy. Is not based on a belief system, same as physics or mathematics. This treatment works on the principle of sound energy, healing properties of fire and preparations that are thrown into the fire, removing pollutants from the atmosphere. The principle of homa is that you heal the atmosphere and the healed atmosphere heals you.

Agnihotra

It is the basic and most potent bio-energetic fire of Homa Therapy. Agnihotra performed in a copper pyramid, captures the revitalizing, regenerating and subtle energies from the sun during sunrise and sunset. Agnihotra helps to establish a bio-energetic equilibrium in all of Nature: atmosphere, soil, water, plants, animals, and human beings. Agnihotra ritual involves the preparation of a fire burning in a copper vessel of certain dimensions. During the ritual, there are offerings of rice, ghee (clarified butter) and other ingredients into a fire during which certain mantras are spoken. The ritual may last all day and night, invoking the healing power of this element

Rules for Agnihotra ritual:

1. A week before the Agnihotra ritual, you must least twice attend a group meditation program. This is very important for harmonizing the energies.
2. The day before performing the ritual of Agnihotra, it is desirable to purify your body by fasting.
3. In the evenings, starting five days before the ritual, you chant mantras for protection and energy.
4. For the ritual, bring flowers, fruits, milk, incense sticks or frankincense and something sweet (preferably made by yourself).
5. You can bring the envelope with a letter of pray for a solution to a problem or for achieving goals. On the envelope write the name and purpose.
6. Bring a mat made of natural materials for sitting. Bring a sleeping bag and a blanket.
7. Agnihotra and Cobra breath are powerful techniques of enlightenment and it is very important to stay fully devoted to it at the day it is performed

Special Precautions of Homa Therapy

Benefits and uses of Homa Therapy are

  • The copper pyramid, where Homa is performed, strongly radiates healing energy. During the Homa, enormous amounts of energy "gather" around the copper pyramid, creating a magnetic field that counteracts the negative and renews positive energies.
  • Homa effects the environment by purifying the natural resources of air, land and water. With Homa, we can purify the atmosphere from harmful radiation, at the physical and subtle level, in the environment and ourselves. It nourishes the plants, neutralizes harmful radiation and pathogenic bacteria. It harmonizes the functioning of the prana and can also be used for the purification of water sources.
  • Homa renews the brain cells, revitalizes the skin and purifies the blood. Many people who are normally allergic to smoke experience a healing effect by sitting in the atmosphere of Homa. Healing effects are "locked" in its ashes. Thousands of people from around the world have experienced wonderful healings of all kinds by using Homa ashes.
  • According to Siddha tradition, the most secret teaching of Kundalini Yoga is the performing of the ritual of fire and Cobra breath. They result in a great cleansing of the buthas (subtle elements) in our body. Agni is the fire, which means to sharpen or grind. It determines the form and represents the light. Throwing a variety of substances into the fire, Agni will clean all the buthas and diseases. By performing Cobra breath and other techniques in combination with Agnihotra, our evolution will be greatly accelerated.
