Ingrediënts

  • Sang Ye : Fol. Mori : 6-12g
    Clears and disperses Lung Dryness and stops cough. With Shi Gao, treats Warm Dryness Attacks the Lungs. With Xing Ren, for headache, fever, and dry non-productive cough from External Warm-Dryness disorders.
  • Shi Gao : Gypsum Fibrosum : 9-30g
    Clears Lung Heat and nourishes Body Fluids. With Ren Shen, for Excessive Heat with Qi Deficiency. With Ren Shen and Mai Men Dong, for Excessive Heat with Qi and Yin Deficiency.
  • Mai Men Dong : Rx. Ophiopogonis 3-10g
    Moistens the Lungs, nourishes Yin, stops cough and generates Fluids. With Sang Ye, Shi Gao, Pi Pa Ye and E Jiao, for Warm-Dryness Injuring the Lungs with fever, cough, wheezing and fullness and pain in the chest and lower rib areas.
  • E Jiao  : Colla Corii Asini : 2-9g
    Moistens the Lungs and nourishes Yin. With Sang Ye, Mai Men Dong, Shi Gao, Pi Pa Ye and Xing Ren, for Dryness injuring Lung Yin.
  • Hei Zhi Ma : Sm. Sesame : 2-3g
    Moistens the Lungs and nourishes Yin. With Sang Ye, for dizziness, blurred vision, tinnitus, and headache due to Liver and Kidney Yin Deficiency with ascendant Yang and numbness, flank pain, and constipation due to Blood or Yin Deficiency.
  • (Huo Ma Ren) : (Sm. Cannabis) : (3-6g)
    (Moistens the Lungs and Large Intestine and nourishes Yin.)
  • Xing Ren : Sm. Armeniacae : 2-10g
    Descends Lung Qi, moistens the Lungs and stops cough and wheezing. With Mai Men Dong, for dry cough due to Heat and Dryness damaging the Lungs. With Sang Ye, for dry, non-productive cough due to Wind-Heat Attacks the Lungs.
  • Pi Pa Ye : Fol. Eriobotryae : 3-10g
    Descends Lung Qi, moistens the Lungs, transforms Phlegm and clears Lung Heat. With Xing Ren, for non-productive cough due to Lung Heat. With Sang Ye, harmonizes the Lungs and Liver and harmonizes the Stomach.
  • Ren Shen : Rx. Ginseng : 2-6g
    Strengthens Lung Qi and generates Fluids. With Gan Cao, strengthens Qi and harmonizes the middle.
  • (Tai Zi Shen) : (Rx. Pseudostellariae): (9-30g). (Substitutes for Ren Shen.)
