Special precautions of Xi Jiao

• This is an endangered species, do not use.
• Use with great caution during pregnancy.
• Use only with Excess disorders.
• Do not use for rashes with Qi Deficiency where there is no high fever.
• Antagonizes Rx. Carmichaeli Chuan Wu Tou.
• Antagonizes Rx. Aconiti Kusnezoffii Zhi Cao Wu.
• Antagonizes Scl. Omphalia Lapidescens Lei Wan.
• This herb potentiates the effect of barbiturates but does not counteract the effects of pentylenetetrazol or caffeine.
