Special Precautions of Zhu Ye Shi Gao Tang
- Contraindication for febrile disease where both normal and pathogenic Qi are abundant, when the fever remains high, or when the Qi and yin have not yet been injured.
Benefits and uses of Zhu Ye Shi Gao Tang are
- recovery stage of infections such as pneumonia, encephalitis B, meningitis, measles, influenza, hemorrhagic fever and scarlet fever; fevers from post-surgical infections or in response to chemotherapy or radiation therapy for cancer
- stomachitis
- systematic lupus erytematous
- diabetes
- nervous exhaustion
Ingredients
- Dan Zhu Ye : 2-15g
- (Zhu Ye):(2-15g) (Substitutes for Dan Zhu Ye - and is better for heat in the upper Jiao causing cough, irritability and thirst.)
- Shi Gao : 10-30g
- Ren Shen 3-9g
- Mai Men Dong : 6-18g
- Zhi Ban Xia : 6-9g
- Zhi Gan Cao : 2-6g
- Geng Mi : 12-15g
