Tonsillitis and Pharyngitis

Pharyngitis is the name given to inflammation of the pharynx. Tonsillitis is the inflammation of the tonsils. Both have as their main symptom a Sore Throat.

Symptoms

  • Pharyngitis is an inflammation of the throat or pharynx.In most cases it is painful.
  • It is the most common cause of a Sore Throat.

Home remedies

  • Stir up some ginger tea to get rid of throat and nose congestion. And when there’s a nip in the air, the warming benefits of this tasty tea are even greater!
  • Gargle throat with salt water (do not swallow afterwards)
  • ascorbic acid (Vitamine C)
  • raw Carrot, beet, cucumber or juice from it.
  • lemon juice and honey
  • onion and ginger
  • turmeric
  • fenugreek
  • Spilanthes is used to treat toothache and throat and gum infections.
