- Gentian decreases intestinal inflammation and kills worms.

- Belleric Myrobalan is mixed with Butea seeds, which is an effective anthelmintic. The herb should be taken 3 times a day. The herb is an effective cure for removal of intestinal worms.
- Wild Bergamot is used against bacteria, fungus, intestinal worms
- Vervain is used against parasitic worms.
- Costus is used for Worm (nematode) infections.
- Evodia root bark is used for infections caused by parasites such as tapeworm and pinworm.
- Artemisia herba-alba : There is some evidence that taking an Artemisia herba-alba water extract might reduce symptoms and cure pinworm infections in adults and children after 3 days of treatment.
- Turkey Berry : Regular intake of the berries can prevent the formation of worms in the intestine. Dried and powdered berries can be added to gravies and eaten.
- Epazote : Indigenous groups have used epazote to cure intestinal parasites, especially tapeworms, hookworms, roundworms, fungi and certain bacteria. The oil of epazote is used to expel wormseed or intestinal hookworms.
- Pumpkin seeds A preclinical canine study has shown that pumpkin seeds have significant activity against canine intestinal parasites.
- False Unicorn aid in removing tapeworms.
- Qian Niu Zi expels intestinal parasites (Tapeworm or roundworm).
- Xian He Cao kills parasites : Trichomonas vaginitis (topical), tapeworm and malarial disorders (internal)
- Male Fern (Dryopteris filix-mas) is one of the most powerful anti-parasitic herbs for tapeworms. (warning : male fern is poisonous and can be fatal if you take too high a dose).
- Ceylon Cinnamon bark is used for gastrointestinal (GI) upset, diarrhea, and gas. It is also used for stimulating appetite; for infections caused by bacteria and parasitic worms.
