Pharyngotonsillitis

Pharyngitis is the inflammation of the pharynx, a region in the back of the throat. In most cases it is quite painful, and it is the most common cause of a Sore Throat. If the inflammation includes tonsillitis, it is called pharyngotonsillitis.
